SCUBA COURSE PAYMENT PLANS AND POLICIES
SECURE YOUR SEAT IN EACH CLASS All scuba courses require a non-refundable payment of $125.00 US dollars at the time of enrollment. Unless you enroll in a payment options plan, the rest of the course fees including tuition, boat, and books are due at the time of the class orientation.
MAKE UP POLICY All class, pool, and ocean dives canceled due to weather conditions will be made up at no cost to the student. For whatever reason a student is unavailable to make a scheduled course date and notifies the instructor before the start of the course, a make-up date will be set on the calendar that is convenient for both the instructor and the student. As long as the make-up date is within 3 weeks of the scheduled course completion date, no make-up fee will be assessed to the student for the first make-up date. Keep in mind that many courses require you to complete the class in a set order in which each course activity is a prerequisite for the next days event. In this case you may need to reschedule more than one date. Each additional make-up date requested by the student prior to the commencement of the course will result in a $65.00 dollar make-up fee. Extreme emergencies that cause a student to miss a date of either class or pool may be assessed a $65.00 make-up fee at the discretion of the instructor. Open water dives for beach sessions may also be made up for a fee of $65.00. Open water training dives for any course that requires a boat dive or boat trip will be assessed a boat fee for both the instructor and student, in addition to a $75.00 dollar fee. All fees are per person unless otherwise arranged.
PRIVATE COURSE PLANS All course schedules developed by the student that are not available to the general public for enrollment are considered to be private courses. Private courses will be assessed a fee of $150.00 per student in addition to the instructor boat fee and regular fees of the course. Private courses require a non-refundable deposit of $150.00 dollars for each student. All make ups for this course fall under the make up policy outlined above. Private course fees are due at the time of the enrollment or no later than the end of the orientation date scheduled for the course. A private course ceases to meet these requirements for groups of 4 or more students. For discounts available for group private lessons see the policy below. No payment plans are available for private lessons.
GROUP DISCOUNTS Groups of 3 or more who sign up for at least one regularly scheduled dive course will be given a 20% discount on the tuition for that course when they mention this plan. A 125.00 dollar non-refundable fee will be assessed to each student. Each student must mention they are part of a group at the time of enrollment and the discount will only be assessed once all 3 people have enrolled in the course. All students must mention this plan and sign up for the course within 24 hours of the first person who enrolls to be eligible for this plan. All make up policies as set forth above apply. This offer may not be combined with any other offer.
BUSINESS DISCOUNTS If you are a business owner or manager of a business and would like to plan a scuba course for your employees we have several options available. Businesses are eligible for our free introduction to scuba diving lecture which covers a portion of the material usually covered in the course to give the prospective students a feel for the course and to make sure the teaching style is right for your employees. All classroom work can be scheduled around your work week and lectures may be given at your place of employment at no extra charge. Immediate family of business employees may also participate in the course. Special corporate discounts are available for class sizes of 4 or more.
