CAL COAST SCUBA INSTRUCTION   

 INTRODUCTION TO / DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING COURSE

      The Discover Scuba Program is designed to allow people who love the ocean above the surface to get a taste of what it will be like to become a dive enthusiast below the water.   This course will give you an introduction to breathing, swimming, and of course enjoying your time underwater!  Breathing underwater is not natural, we have been told to hold our breath when we swim below the surface.  This course will largely work on over coming this fear and if you are ready for it, the friendly and experienced staff will be accompanying you while you try your hand at some of the other amazing activities that await you underwater! 

     In addition to being really fun, our Discover Scuba program is also a great way to get a head start on your PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications. Many of the skills you learn in the pool are covered in the first training lesson of the next course, the open water scuba diver course.  As a result, at your discretion and at the discretion of your dive instructor you may be able to sit out the entire first pool session!

Prerequisites:

• Must have basic swimming skills and be at least 8 years of age.

• Complete a Student Diver Record and Referral Form

Tuition:  $75.00 (per student)

Cost Includes:

1)  Rental Equipment                   2)  Pool Time

NONE: All gear is provided!
