DAN OXYGEN FIRST AID FOR AQUATICS EMERGENCIES PRODUCTS

Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies
DAN Pool Pak Oxygen Unit

 Overview | Related Product

The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies course will train you to use a DAN oxygen first aid unit such as the Pool Pak. DAN oxygen equipment delivers a high concentration of oxygen, the standard of care for near-drowning emergencies. Today, safety-conscious owners of pools and boats want emergency oxygen equipment available. To meet this demand, DAN offers the Pool Pak, a rugged, compact unit designed for use in marine/aquatic environments.

The Pool Pak includes the following components:

  • Aluminum M9 Cylinder: holds 249 liters of oxygen; lasts approximately 16 minutes at a flow rate of 15 liters per minute.
  • Variable-flow Regulator with Analog Pressure Gauge
  • Disposable Non-rebreather Mask
  • Re-usable Resuscitation Mask with Oxygen Inlet Valve
  • Handwheel for Easy On/Off Operation of Cylinder Valve
  • Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies Training Video
  • Two Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies Student Handbooks
  • Pelican® Case: air-tight and waterproof, will protect the oxygen unit from the elements, drops and falls

Supplying oxygen is one of the most important first aid measures a rescuer can provide to someone who has had a near-drowning experience.
