DISCOVER LOCAL DIVING ON CATALINA ISLAND
You are certified! It is a great feeling but now what!? If you find yourself in one of the three following categories why come diving with us?
1) 1) I always want to go diving but have a hard time finding someone to dive with.
2) 2) I am certified but want to dive at a location I have never been before.
3) 3) I am certified but not completely confident in my skills and would feel more comfortable diving with a trained professional.
Description of Course Fees:
*Discover Local Diving on Catalina: $165.00
We have over 100 logged dives at Casino Point and will be able to take you to all the best dive locations! We supply any rental gear you may not already own and bring it for you to the dive location. Our certified instructors and dive masters will give you a dive briefing on location and take you on two dives to show you some of the more attractive locations at the spot. Our lectures take a similar format to the dive location format you will find on our web site in the dive locations link. Topics we cover include tips on entries and exits, tips on navigating the dive site, as well as what you will see and what to look out for when diving the spot. Casino Point is a Marine Reserve with great year round visibility which makes it an excellent location for divers of all skill levels! Located 26.2 miles off of the California Coast Casino Point offers a unique diving experience in which divers encounter a staggering amount of life!
*Rentals and boat fare are included at no extra charge! You will be entitled to as many as 5 dives! Hotel accommodations can be made by us for an additional fee. 1) Junior Open Water Diver / Open Water Diver or equivalent

Strongly Recommended Gear:
1) save a dive kit 2) fish ID slate 3) clips for your gear
4) slate to write on 5) tarp to place your gear on 6) 5 gallon bucket of fresh water
7) dry bag
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
*The tentative dates for this course are flexible and will be arranged to suit your schedule. This is only a tentative schedule for your reference when making arrangements with us to dive. With sufficient preparation time we can get you diving and count some of those dives towards your Advanced Open Water Certification or Specialties! Contact us for more information on these trips! We also offer Discover SCUBA Diving on the island for those who have never dove before! For people interested in this option please contact us at info@calcoastdivers.com and make your first dive count towards your future certification!*

Orientation – On orientation night we will discuss the topics that we will
cover in the course as well as go over tips on how to select your gear for
this course. You will need to purchase all of your required gear before the
weekend events begin. Please note all fees are due on this date as well as
your filled out medical form.
Saturday & Sunday - Dives will be conducted on Saturday and Sunday that are reflective of your experience level and interests. As you progress we will tailor the dives for maximum bottom time and enjoyment. You will never be pressured to participate in a dive you do not feel comfortable doing, nor will you be asked to participate in a dive that exceeds your level of training.
